About Aurlandsdalen Valley

Aurlandsdalen Valley is one of the finest one-day-hikes you can do in the area. The Valley is known as Norway’s Grand Canyon, and when walking through it you get close to both spectacular landscape and cultural heritage.

The tour starts by bus from Flåm and Aurland, and you will meet the guide on board. Together, you will walk from Østerbø down to Vassbygdi where you take the bus back to Aurland or Flåm.

The leg from Østerbø to Vassbygdi is approx. 20 kilometres long and mostly downhill on single-track trail. Because of its length it is a demanding hike.
