Paddling is one of the best ways to enjoy the stunning fjord landscape. Join an easy, yet rewarding, 3-hour kayaking tour from Flåm and experience the Aurlandsfjord up close.
The trip starts with instructions about the basics of kayaking from one of the experienced guides. Once you’re ready, you’ll be given a stable tandem kayak and will venture out onto the fjord. A guide will be there to support you during your trip and will share their insights and fascinating stories about the history and wildlife of the area.

Paddling on the Aurlandsfjord from Flåm is like being in a postcard. Surrounded by steep mountains on all sides with beautiful waterfalls, and small settlements scattered along the shoreline. Among the highlights is a view of the old cluster farm, Otternes, approx. 5 km from Flåm. On the return trip to Flåm, you’ll have a panoramic view of the charming village centre.
Remember to keep an eye on the actual fjord. You might spot a seal sunbathing on a rock or a porpoise popping its head out of the water!
