Over the years, Fretheim Hotel’s garden concerts have become a cherished spring tradition, featuring renowned artists in an intimate outdoor setting.

In May 2025, the spotlight turns to Bjørn Eidsvåg, one of Norway’s most beloved singer-songwriters. With timeless songs like Skyfri himmel and Floden, he has touched the hearts of Norwegians across generations. His curiosity for new musical expressions has led to exciting collaborations, keeping him relevant even after decades in the industry. Most recently, he appeared on Norway’s hit TV show Hver gang vi møtes, where artists reinterpret each other’s songs.

Adding to the evening’s atmosphere, Espen Horne from Bergen will take the stage both before and after the concert. A versatile musician, composer, and producer, Horne’s work has made an impact both nationally and internationally. Known for blending jazz, funk, electronica, and lounge music, he has a unique ability to create an immersive musical experience.
