Join us for a spectacular snowcoach tour with lunch and snowshoes – an exotic experience and the only winter connection between Eidsbugarden and Tyin. Choose whether to book with or without bus transport from Flåm!

- Meeting point: Flåm station - Bus stop A/B (Bus company: NOR-WAY Bus Express | Route: 162)
- Parking Flåm: at Flåm station

- Transport back to Flåm: The snow coach brings you back to Tyin, where you either take the bus back to Flåm (sundays only) or will be picked up

Tyin-Eidsbugarden-Tyin

Flåm-Eidsbugarden-Flåm
The snow coach drive is an experience itself - these nostalgic vehicles are the only connections for the Eidsbugarden inhabitants to reach the open road and civilization during winter. Enjoy this comfortable bus ride from Flåm into the mountain of Jotunheimen.
Bombardier Snowmobiles
Our snow coaches are probably older than you - most of them are from the 1960s and are proper vintage vehicles with a lot of history. The ride to Eidsbugarden will take about 45 min and is an experience in itself - sitting in these historical vehicles and being driven into a winter wonderland far away from civilization. The driver and guide will give you an introduction to the history of the snow coach and the region.
Eidsbugarden
Once arrived at Eidsbugarden we will serve you a delicious lunch at the local restaurant (Fondsbu DNT - accommodation from the Norwegian Trekking Association) before you can head out to explore the village of Eidsbugarden on snowshoes.
During your stay in Eidsbugarden, you will find toilets, free Wifi, and a cafe/restaurant at the accommodation Fondsbu DNT.
The snow coach will be returning back to Tyin at 16.15 with arrival at Tyin at 17.00.
