Myrkdalen is located in the northern part of Voss region, just 30 minutes from the centre. Voss is a well-known destination, primarily due to the Extreme Sports Week, the world's largest festival of its kind. Voss Climbing and Zipline Park
Voss Climbing and Zipline Park is located in scenic surroundings by the Strandaelva River in Åsbrekkegjellet, just 15 minutes from Myrkdalen. The climbing park includes smaller courses for the little ones, two large courses, and a zipline park with a total of 60 elements. The courses in the climbing park are varied, fun, and challenging for children as well as adults. The zip lines stretch from tree to tree through the forest and over Strandaelva river, with the longest zipline being 150 meters and following the river's rapids downstream!
Voss Bowling and Activity Centre
In the centre of Voss, you'll find Voss Bowling – a large activity centre with plenty of fun for all ages. In addition to bowling, you can enjoy a game of billiards or electronic darts. For the little ones, there is also a play area of more than 300 square meter, which is a sure winner on a rainy day. The café offers a variety of dishes to suit your appetite, whether you're feeling a little peckish or very hungry.

Rafting and Family Rafting
Rafting is one of Voss's most popular summer activities. It's exciting, fun, and suitable for beginners and experienced rafters! From May to October, Voss Rafting offers half-day trips on the Strandaelva or Raundalselva rivers, depending on the water level. Both rivers are of top international class with thrilling class 3–4 rapids.
If you're looking for an exciting activity to do with children, we recommend family rafting in Vosso. Voss Rafting offers family rafting every day from May to October. Families can try both large and sturdy boats that accommodate up to 8 participants, as well as small 2-person rafts for those who want bigger challenges. Lots of swimming and fun for everyone is guaranteed! Age limit: 5 years.
Tandem skydiving
For those seeking a true breath of fresh air, we recommend tandem skydiving at Skydive Voss. As a tandem student, you'll experience freefall in a controlled environment, safely strapped to an experienced, specially trained skydiving instructor. Voss Parachute Club, located in Bømoen about 10 km from Voss town centre, is the largest skydiving club in Norway.
