Fishing in Lofoten

The sea is rich in fish no matter the season, but January to April is the high season. This is when the Arctic cod migrates from the north to spawn in the waters in the Vestfjord outside Lofoten and draws both Norwegian and international fishermen to the region to work on fishing boats.
