The largest park area in Western Norway
The parks in Myrkdalen invite you to have fun! This season, four different parks will have features and jumps suitable for all levels.
In recent years, we have made significant investments in developing our parks in collaboration with ShapeCrew, and we are recognized for having excellent parks for ski and snowboard enthusiasts in Western Norway.
Village Park
In the Village Park, located just above Myrkdalen Hotel, you'll find several areas designed for advanced and expert skiers. There are jump and rail lines on both sides of the lift. Additionally, the Village Park provides night skiing on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays throughout much of the winter season.
Finne park
The Finne Park features Klaus Finne's signature line: a creative slope with various snow elements. This park is located near Trail 1 at the top of the Helgatun lift and is suitable for advanced and expert skiers and snowboarders.
Helgatun Park
This park is near trail 5 and consists of two flow lines with rail elements and small jumps suitable for advanced and experts.
Adventure slope
This park is located in Storhaugen, down to the Storhaug Express. The park is like a roller coaster on snow. Here, flow and skiing joy are the main focus.
Children's park
Of course, you'll find the children's park on the kids' slope, consisting of various elements where children can play and develop their skills. Boxes, small jumps, and gates create a fun and varied slope. Right next to it, you'll also find the adventure forest with lots of exciting paths and trails through the woods.
Events
Throughout the entire winter season, we offer a variety of park events.
Pure Winter Joy in March is a fun park event for children and the whole family.
The Norwegian Cup in slopestyle and big air was held with the Norwegian free ski elite at the Village Park on March 16 and 17, 2024.
Jib League and Open Class - If you enjoy park skiing, spring snow, and a vibrant atmosphere, you won't want to miss the Jib League and Open Class, the ultimate season finale for ski and snowboard enthusiasts. In addition to ample skiing and snowboarding, there will be plenty of fun in the park featuring jumps and rails. Plus, the event boasts a fantastic festival atmosphere with concerts and entertainment.
