About the trip to Prest

Prest at 1.478 metres above sea level, is one of the most popular and scenic hikes around the Aurlandsfjord. As with most of the trails in the area, the hike to the top is quite steep. Luckily, it’s also rather short, only 3 kilometres from the starting point to the top.

It’s also one of few hikes where the panoramic view follows you more or less from start to end.

The tour starts and ends by bus from/to Flåm and Aurland with a quick stop at Stegastein Viewpoint both ways.
