The cable car takes you up to the Narvikfjellet Restaurant 656 masl, which is the perfect starting point for skiing, ski touring, northern lights hunting, snowshoeing and tobogganing in the winter. In the summer you can choose between hiking, cycling, midnight sun experiences, or maybe you perfer a good meal at the Restaurant. From the upper cable car station you get a panoramic view of deep fjords, high mountains, the historic ore harbor and Narvik city, which makes the cable car ride an experience in itself. Remember to bring your camera!
When buying this ticket, it is important to choose a specific date / the date the ticket will be used. If you have purchased a return ticket, the return can be used at any time within the opening hours. The return function of the ticket must be used on the same day as the ticket is activated on the way up.

Narvik Cable Car
The new gondola lift in Narvikfjellet opened in 2019 and has a capacity of 1,600 passengers per hour. The 10-seater cabins take you from the lower station to the upper station at 656 meters above sea level in just 4 minutes. From the gondola, you have a spectacular view of Narvik, the fjords, and the surrounding mountain ranges. Enjoy the landscape in peace and quiet or opt for further adventures in true Arctic nature.
Mountain Cable Car Restaurant
The mountain cable car restaurant at the upper station is the heart of Narvikfjellet, with its unique location on the edge of a steep mountainside and views you can otherwise only dream of. Experience a delicious meal or simple snacks while gazing at the midnight sun or the northern lights.
Starting point for Arctic adventures
In the winter, the gondola is part of the ski resort. In addition to piste skiing, the gondola can also be used for ski touring or off-piste skiing. If skiing isn't your thing, the upper station is also a great starting point for snowshoeing, sledding, and experiencing the northern lights.
In the summer, the gondola is the starting point for mountain hikes, trail biking, and midnight sun experiences.
