In Myrkdalen you will find everything from family-friendly green runs, long blue runs for beginners and more demanding black pistes for the most experienced. See opening times and trail map with description below.

Opening Hours

The ski resort opened on Friday, November 29, but until there is enough snow in the mountains, only the Myrkdalsekspressen and Mikkeltrekket lifts are open. As long as conditions allow, the ski resort is open every day from 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM. Follow us on social media for updates.

The lifts are open every day.

Season Start through January: 9:30 AM - 3:30 PM
February to End of Season: 9:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Evening Skiing in Landsbytrekket and Mikkeltrekket in Badnabakken:

  • Wednesday/Friday/Saturday from December 20 - March 29: Open until 8:00 PM
  • Christmas Holiday (December 27 - December 30): Open until 8:00 PM
  • Winter Holiday (February 7 - March 1, 2025): Open until 8:00 PM

Holidays:

  • Christmas Eve, December 24: 9:30 AM - 2:00 PM

24 varied slopes with all levels of difficulty
Myrkdalen has everything from family-friendly ski areas, slopes with all levels of difficulty, terrain parks, ski cross slopes to great off-piste terrain. The ski resort has a total of 9 lifts: 2 six-seater express lifts, 3 t-bar lifts, 3 disc lifts and a magic carpet for the youngest skiers.

Here, you'll find green slopes suitable for families, long blue slopes for beginners, and more challenging slopes and terrain for advanced skiers.


Most slopes are wide and open – Myrkdalen is therefore a perfect place to learn to ski.
