Challenges between the treetops

Voss Active’s high-rope and zipline park is all about individual challenges and achieving a sense of mastery. The park offers exciting and challenging activities in which you go from tree to tree using various climbing and balancing elements. Some of the elements are easy, some of them more physical, while some of them are quite high. However, what they all have in common is they are great fun!

If you are a little anxious about heights, the Main Course is an excellent way to overcome your fear, while also having a lot of fun. If any of the more difficult elements are too challenging, you can take a shortcut.

There are a total of 60 different elements in the park and the highest point is more than 14 metres above ground level. All altitude trails end with a zipline and the longest is over 70 metres. There is also a separate zipline trail on which the longest runs for 150 metres and crosses a river!

Zipline Course

• Five ziplines, of which the longest is 150 metres
• Requirements: Min. 140 cm tall
• Highest point: 12 metres above ground

The ziplines go from tree to tree through the forest and across the Strandaelva river. The longest zipline is 150 metres and follows the river’s rapids.

Main High-Rope Course

• Two courses, 26 elements and two long ziplines
• Requirements: Min. 140 cm tall
• Highest point: 14 metres above ground

At the start of course 1, you will climb a tower to reach the first platform. From here the journey continues from treetop to treetop via various climbing and balancing elements. Close to the most challenging elements are shortcuts you can take if the main route looks too difficult.

Micro & Mini Courses

• Four courses with 23 fun elements and four ziplines
• Requirements: Min. 100 cm
• Highest point: 6 metres

The small courses are suited to smaller children and anyone who feels that the large courses are too challenging. Parents and adults can follow the children around the Micro course from the ground and help them if necessary, as well as prepare them for the higher Mini course.

Safety system and briefing

Before the high-rope courses, all climbers will be provided with a harness and safety equipment. Professional instructors

Before the trip starts along the trails in the high-rope park, all climbers will be provided with a climbing harness, helmet and safety equipment. Professional instructors will provide training and instruction in the proper use of the safety equipment before entering the trail.

Throughout the park, the same safety system (continuous safety) is used and all participants are constantly attached to a safety line from start to finish.

Adult supervision

Main course + zipline park:

16+ years: Must sign a waiver

<16 years: A responsible adult must sign the waiver

12 - 15 years: An adult must be at the Park, but is not required to go on the course

<12 years: An adult must be on the course with the kids (max. 4:1)

Mini & Micro Courses:

• 16+ years: Must sign a waiver
• <16 years: A responsible adult must sign the waiver
• 5 - 15 years: An adult must supervise their kids but is not required to go on the course
• <5 years: A responsible adult must be on the course (max. 2:1)
