Gudvangen Fjordtell: Seafood Restaurant

The best seafood restaurant in the area? A heated glass pavilion facing the fjord with panoramic views to the Nærøyfjord and the mountains. Here you can find a variety of fresh fish and shellfish. From the traditional fish soup, steamed mussels to our staple seafood platter which is excellent to share. Gluten and lactose free options are available.

Gudvangen Fjordtell: King’s Hall

In the glass domed “King’s Hall” facing the fjord, long tables are set up to greet you to a taste of the Nærøyfjord. The a la carte menu is based on what the surrounding area has to offer. For example, local venison, artisan cheese and local farm-to-table vegetables. Enjoy a cocktail or sample the house mead by the fire inside or under the night sky. Gluten and lactose free options available.

Fretheim Hotel in Flåm: Restaurant Arven

Enjoy a culinary experience at Fretheim Hotel’s main restaurant. The food concept is based on Norwegian and locally produced ingredients that are in season, with a drink menu that completes the meal.

Hotel Aurlandsfjord: Main Restaurant

Working hand in hand with Kest, we present a more relaxed and casual main restaurant of the Hotel Aurlandsfjord with the same principles as the tasting menu. The team is focusing on using the same high quality local products and parts that are left from the tasting menu. Doing this, we ensure that nothing ends up as waste, reducing food waste and our impact on nature. The dishes here are a bit more rustic and approachable, but just as delicious as in Kest.
