Mountain Sauna
Mountain air is an experience in itself – fresh, pure and filled with rejuvenating energy. But it's also cold, making a hot room with beautiful mountain view a perfect escape. Let the heat relax your body, while you gaze out the window, taking in the scenery.
Practical information
The Mountain Sauna has 8 drop in slots. You can choose to book the whole sauna, so that you, your friends and family can enjoy the sauna experience in privacy. In the private sessions we allow maximum 10 people.
The mountain sauna is located in the ski slopes, just a five minute walk from Myrkdalen hotel. Meet in the reception at the time of your booking to pick up keys and a map.
You can rent towels and buy drinking water in the reception, if you are not bringing your own.
Make sure to wear good shoes for the walk up to the sauna. Dress practical and light. There is a changing room available in the sauna.
There is no shower by the sauna, but there is a small stream right outside the door where you can dip your feet.
The sauna can be booked every day at 08.00 AM, 12.00 PM and 15.30 PM during the fall. In the winter season more slots will be added.
