Kamben is inspired by the mountain Bjørndalskamben.
At 1,402 meters above sea level, Bjørndalskamben is the highest mountain in Myrkdalen. From the summit is a magnificent view of Hurrungane, Fresvikbreen, Vikafjellet, Myrkdalen, and Vossefjella.
The mountain inspired the architect, and if you look closely, you can see the similarities between the building and the mountain's formations.
The idea of local anchoring continues inside with elements of stone and nature. The drink menu features a wide variety of local beers.
