Frosty Frames Film festival
Are you ready to turn your skiing and snowboarding adventures into cinematic masterpieces?
Over the course of three days, challenge your friends and cabin neighbors to create the best ski and snowboard film on the slopes. Together with your team, you'll earn points by completing various tasks along the way.
Produce your film using the equipment you have and let your creativity run wild.
The rules are simple:
- Teams of 3 - 6 people
- Each team has two days to film and edit their movie
- The film must not exceed 99 seconds
- Everyone featured in the film must wear their own vest, which will be provided
- Submission deadline is Sunday at 3:00 PM online
- Extra points are awarded for each task completed by the team
- Prizes will be awarded in two categories: Family and Shredder Class. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place will be awarded in each category.
- Winners will be announced and the films will be showcased on a big screen in Storebotn at 6:30 PM on Thursday.
Registration, briefing, and distribution of vests and tasks will take place at 3:00 PM in Storebotn on Tuesday, February 25. It is also possible to collect vests and assignments between 9:00 AM and 10:00 AM on Wednesday morning.
There will also be a movie night featuring inspiring ski and snowboard films halfway through the competition, on Wednesday at 7:00 PM in Storebotn. We are also showing last year's films, as well as a film by Klaus Finne.
