Are you ready to transform your skiing and snowboarding adventures into cinematic masterpieces?
About the event
Over the course of three days, challenge your friends and cabin neighbors to create the best ski and snowboard film from the slopes. Together with your team, you'll earn points by completing various tasks along the way.
Create your film using the equipment you have and unleash your creativity.
The rules are simple:
- Teams of 3–6 people
- Each team has two days to film and edit their movie
- The film must be no longer than 99 seconds
- Everyone in the film must wear their assigned vest, which will be provided
- The submission deadline is Sunday at 3:00 PM online (a link will be sent out)
- Extra points for each task your team completes during the competition
There will be awards in two categories: Family Class and Shredder Class. First, second, and third place will be crowned in each category.
Film screenings on the big screen and the awards ceremony will take place in Storebotn at 6:30 PM on Thursday.
Registration, briefing, and distribution of vests and tasks will take place at 3:00 PM in Storebotn on Tuesday, February 25. It’s also possible to pick up vests and tasks between 9:00 and 10:00 AM on Wednesday morning.
A film night featuring inspiring ski and snowboard movies will be held midway through the competition, on Wednesday at 7:00 PM in Storebotn. We’ll also screen last year’s films and a movie by Klaus Finne.

Sledding
Join us for a fun and thrilling ride with a snow racer from the top of the Myrkdalsekspressen! We'll take the last lift up, so we'll have the slope to ourselves all the way down to the Myrkdalen Hotel.
